Hey Derek, You were right on target. Are you saying that I could have reinstalled GP2010 and upgraded EBC (there were actually several modules) evidently when 2 non-solvent companies were created they had all modules installed back in GP10 days. Your answer was basically what the MS Tech said and he gave me scripts for to discard/reinitialize... some against company databases and a lot against dynamics database. There was a way to mark your answer as helpful...
Hello Phil, To go from Dynamics GP 10.0 to Dynamics GP 2013, you have to be on a minimum of 10.00.1779, which is the PRODID 0 (Microsoft Dynamics GP) version/build. The corresponding version/build for PRODID 1428 would be 10.0.1167. As you can see from the error, there appears to be records for PRODID 1428 that are showing 10.0.1061, which is too low to upgrade directly to Dynamics GP 2013. The options at this point would be: >If Electronic Bank Reconcile has been used in the past and there is data needed to be brought forward, you would need to update EBC to a higher build of GP 10.0 before going to Dynamics GP 2013. It may be possible that this feature wasn't added when the upgrade to GP 10.0 was done. >If EBR has never been used and/or the data in this feature doesn't need to be brought forward, we can re-initialize the system tables so that instead of attempting to upgrade this feature from GP 10.0 to Dynamics GP 2013, it will reinstall it anew at the GP 2013 version, which will get past this version error. This can be done also on a per company database basis or for all GP databases. Thank you,
thanks,
