Kyle, For what it's worth, I've not seen what you are describing happen on any of our own or our clients' installations. While I can see some things being a little slower the first time they are accessed (per Kirk's post - some things may need to be recreated or spun up, which may take a little longer), none of these should cause "massive performance issues". And the fact that another reboot (or a few) fixes this seems strange if a reboot caused the problem to begin with. It would be helpful to know what specifically has performance issues, as this could mean so many different things. It would also be helpful to understand more about the GP environment and all the products that are involved, as that could also be very different from one company to another. I would think the first step would be to look at the server next time this happens to see what is going on. Or perhaps a test reboot off hours might be a good idea - take the updates out of the equation, reboot the server(s), maybe one at a time, and see if everything is still working as expected?
