Hi There, Leslie! Thanks, for testing! Based on your observations, there is something important that I should point out. The dex.ini file of our GP installs has the following switch in it, to make SmartList exporting be faster than "normal": SmartlistEnhancedExcelExport=TRUE. I did not put this in. My predecessor did. Unfortunately, sometimes having this switch is necessary when you have a lot of data to export, on a regular basis. But, as you know, this switch has side effects. In fact, one of them is that if you export a serial number and it is longer than 15 characters, SmartList replaces positions 16-20 with 0's. The fact that Phone 3 is greater than 15 characters is likely what's coming in to play, here. Oh, well. It sounds like I'll have to use Excel Report Builder, then. Don't get me wrong. I like Excel Report Builder. But, some DBAs have concerns about granting additional permissions to end users through SQL. I think this will be okay, though. Thanks, again! John
