Hi, There are a couple of dates floating around. The 'Posting Date' stands for the transaction date 'TRXDATE' in the General Ledger. The term 'Posting Date' almost always stands for GL transaction date in all modules. The 'Posted Date' is the date the user hit the 'post' button. For inventory, the date the Inventory Transaction was posted is in the POSTEDDT field in the IV30100 table. The best place, maybe the only place, to see the Posted Date is using SmartList.
