We have a relatively large dexterity project. Our Collection has 7 subfolders. The specific dictionary I am working with has 1 directory as its main branch and 4 which represent prior versions. I am unsure if this is the correct approach as TFS was set up by another employee. These 5 folders each have around 10,000 files and are about 175 MB per folder. The other 2 folders have 1300 and 5 files and take up 20 MB and less than 1 MB respectively. Collection sums are 885 MB and 52,000 files. I have tried all sorts of service provider combinations. Dex 2013, Dex 2015, DSCCS Local, TFS (server and explorer) 2010 and 2012. When connected to the VPN it takes 30 to 45 minutes for the "Get File List" portion. When connected on the network, it is under 60 seconds. When doing the same thing against VSS (also on the VPN) it takes less than 30 seconds. Any ideas?
