Hi Leslie & Beat, Thanks for your input. Based on your replies, I don't think it's a field that I should consider for what the IT people are trying to achieve. The fact that it's not a field that is wildly used in the GP community makes me believe it's not that "useful", except maybe for the multidimensional analysis that Leslie mentioned. Thanks again!
