Hi, The underlying database table will allow for 51 characters without increasing the storage size. To access that extra character you would need to change the keyable length of the STR50 Data Type. Not worth the effort for a single character. Also, the STR50 Data Type is used in dozens of fields. Do you need to have the entire description in a single field? Kind regards, Leslie
