We have the same situation where the parent company gives us the currency exchange rate at the end of the period to use for that period. We enter the rate with the beginning and ending dates of the period that they apply. Currently, we have March rates entered with the dates applicable to our March period (we're not on a straight calendar month for our periods). The currency translation uses the latest rate available, even though the expiration date is past until the new rate is entered. Therefore, March and April reports are using March rates. When we receive the April rates, the reports will then switch to the April rates because the effective date will be applicable for April.
