Forum Post: AP Invoices

I was wondering is there a way to modify AP Invoice/document number once it is posted as sometimes we get contracts and we need to make payments according to that but than later on we receive proper Invoices and I was wonderign is there a way to go back into the contract number and modify it to Invoice number
