Aaron, so when this happens does GP completely lock down? Or is it temporary and does the system 'unlock' at some point. One thing I would look at right away, is there main screen and what services they are running or refreshing on the fly. From this I am referring to the Microsoft Connect app. I find that network speed aside, this can be a big reason for speed issues. To test this out, once logged on as the user, see if the Connect applet opens on the main screen. If it does, click on the Customize this Screen ( upper right ) and click off the Microsoft Connect option on the window that opens. Post back with the results. If the Connect App is not present, let us know that as well.
