I have 3 time codes that are linked to pay codes for the average worker/laborer. This had to be done due to the new (July 2015) California sick time regulation for laborers. Sick time is earned based on hours worked (regular and OT hours). When a laborer promotes to a crew leader, the laborer no longer qualifies for the new sick time regulation, hence, special sick time accrual. However, the same pay codes are used at the crew leader level as the crew leader is tracked hourly -for job costing- but guaranteed 40 hours per week (like a salaried position). Is there a way to unlink a time code to a pay code for the employee (not globally/systematically) so that the pay codes can remain in use (pay codes Hourly, OT, Premium OT)? This can be for GP2010 and later (using GP2013 R2 but behavior is the same, I believe, thru GP2015 R2). Thanks for any input on this issue!
