As mentioned in my article #GPPT: GP Power Tools says it is unregistered on login, but is registered , an issue was discovered with Batch Posting Service Toolkit (BPST) where it would fail for live companies with a registration error, but only when called as a web service via Service Based Architecture (SBA). If you made the same call using the testing window inside Microsoft Dynamics GP, the service calls would work without issues. The problem came down to the fact that SBA environment might not match Dynamics GP environment . In our case, the Mekorma Product Manager was not initialized and so the registration check failed. After some testing, I was able identify the changes needed to make the registration system work without needing to specifically initialize the Mekorma Product Manager. If you are facing this issue, please make sure you download the latest Batch Posting Service Toolkit build from the Mekorma Batch Posting Service Toolkit. It will have a Last Modified Date: 26-Feb-2016 (as highlighted on the screenshot above) or later. David This article was originally posted on http://www.winthropdc.com/blog .
