Thanks Tristan, while interesting consideration - I am not sure the client will want to invest that kind of time and effort simply to 're-close' the year so the auditor can 'see the report generated' Bit of a stuffed shirt this auditor - so, we get to tell him NO and that will make a bunch of the staff happy. Still not getting what I want - but OK
