Forum Post: Search by Vendor Name

I would like to be able to search by Vendor Name in the Vendor ID field. We have over 2000 vendors and cannot always remember the number. I know there is a way to type in the vendor name in the vendor id field without going to the search feature. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
