David - this may be a table fix - doing a search through the payables tables and updating the document date there. If you are not familiar with tables, do you have access to someone that could help? There are loads of date fields that would need to be updated - it is really a bit of a "search and destroy" mission! To try to avoid this sort of thing happening in the future, I highly recommend turning on the Doc Date Verify function in the Professional Services Tools. This will not allow you to create a transaction that does not have a financial period set up. Cheers Heather
