Please be informed that we are presently allocating the Customs, Freight, Detention and other Clearance charges as per the invoice from the Clearing Agent, at the time of making Receipt in GP. This cost is being allocated to the Total Quantities in the Container of that shipment. We would like to allocate the cost based on the space utilization in Cubic Feet of that particular item. Usually we get this details from the vendor, and is mentioned clearly against each item in their Proforma Invoice. Kindly let me know if we can allocate the total cost by item and it's space utilization. how can i do that. please advice
