I am a newbie, and this is my very first post! :) yeah!!!! I am answering a three year old question that David the original poster already solved and moved on to other things. But someone may end up with this problem and since I have been taught by my Microsoft GP Solutions Provider how to do this safely, let me share. I think in the case that David Mentions, to remove the empty bins safely you go to Inventory->under utilities, choose Remove bins --> in the pop up window, specify the (range of) Bins, you need to remove.--> Under REMOVE BINS FROM entry MAKE SURE you choose the second radio button "Item/Site Records Only" --> On remove from select as applicable, to your case--->Process. That's it! I suspect that in David's case under the second Option (REMOVE BINS FROM) they selected the first radio button "Sites and Items/Site Records" which will remove the whole site and with it the records. No site no records.
